Supercharged - A Personal Point of View

In retrospect (which is much easier) I still feel that the potential impetus of a truly progressive band was lost by the diversion into the zanier aspects of the bands live performances. So when John Peel declared that 'She Moved the Dishes First' as one of his favourite records of that time the seeds of direction had been sown and it is with great relief  (Blessed Relief) that I do not appear in the photograph of the

'History of Virgin' Book, naked with my genitalia tucked between my legs and the bass player brandishing a rather large razor blade!

I had left prior to the signing of the Virgin Contract for £60,000 the largest fee at that time for a relatively unknown band.

I feel tremendously proud of being associated with the first album 'Between Music & Madness' because of the musical diversity that remains sandwiched between the usual madness that became the trade mark of the Supercharged live performance.
